Life insurance can provide piece of mind, knowing that clients and their loved ones are protected. This session will explain the basic features of term policies and the features that they offer. Presenter Brian Ciccarelli will help fee-only financial advisors understand the benefits of term insurance in their clients’ planning solutions and explore the advantages of policy conversions and permanent life insurance.

• Layering term insurance to provide coverage at different points in clients’ lives or to supplement their employer’s group coverage.
• How an existing permanent policy can be part of a 1035 exchange to a term-and-universal life (term-UL) insurance policy.
• How a policy’s conversion option could be used to secure coverage beyond a term insurance policy for their clients in deteriorating health.
