Financial Advisors can benefit from speaking about philanthropy with their clients. Positioning philanthropic vehicles for planners’ client base, helps clients realize their financial and philanthropic goals. In this presentation, you will learn how to position philanthropy within your client base while distinguishing characteristics of philanthropic vehicles and engaging the next generation and family values. In addition to determining how to formulate financial and tax strategies, advisors will also learn how thinking about philanthropy strategically can help grow and maintain their business.

Greg Murray joined Vanguard Charitable in 2017 as National Sales Executive. He works closely with financial advisors to help support their clients’ charitable intentions through a holistic wealth management approach. Previously, Greg worked for Hartford Mutual Funds, RS Investments, and O’Shares Investments. Greg holds a Bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Albright College.

Cindy VanAmburgh is a senior executive with Vanguard Charitable’s business development team, helping individuals, families, corporations, and professional advisors to partner with Vanguard Charitable in their charitable giving. She previously served as a client relationship specialist, assisting clients with $1M or more in charitable assets. Before joining Vanguard Charitable in 2011, she worked in the publishing field as a product manager. She also enjoys volunteering with several non-profit organizations in the Philadelphia area. Cindy earned her bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Texas, Austin.
