Jason Cole has 25+ years of experience at the intersection of public policy and markets. He served for over a decade as a legislative director and chief of staff to two Members of Congress on the House Financial Services Committee. Jason was also and advocate for UBS Financial Services and led federal government relations for MetLife and has been involved in major policy debates including: Gramm-Leach-Bliley, Sarbanes-Oxley, Dodd-Frank and tax and budget reforms in 2001, 2003, 2011, 2017, 2021, 2022, and 2024.

Public policy has the ability to affect financial markets, and investors should be aware of legal and regulatory changes that can affect portfolios. Since the 2024 election, there have been unprecedented changes and historically swift action on policies coming out of Washington. This session will provide advisors with the latest changes as well as an outlook on what Congress and the Administration are looking towards in 2025.
