I was born in Mexico City and live currently El Paso, Texas.
I believe that the way a person uses his/her resources should be a reflection of his/her most deeply help values and priorities. Over the years, I've found (and science has confirmed) that a lot of stress in our lives comes as a result of living in a misaligned way: Our values may be X, but if we do Y, we'll get stress and anxiety.
I'm a big believer of the power of education to inspire change in people's lives, specially among the Hispanic community. Because of that, I talk about the connection between Psychology and Personal Finance in a weekly segment in Noticias MVS Juarez - El Paso, (a radio newscast in Spanish that airs on El Paso and surrounding areas) and also have a weekly column in El Diario de El Paso (the newspaper in Spanish for the region).
